Urvi Kulkarni

I'm passionate about writing and the environment. I've been writing and editing for Carlmont School's journalism program for the past two years. I gravitate towards reporting on local climate change initiatives and perspectives. Additionally, I find great interest in visual arts and its role in the journalistic process. I explore my interest in illustration through my role as a cartoon managing editor for Scot Scoop (online publication), as well as in my contributions to the Highlander (print magazine). 
 

I enjoy participating in numerous youth climate organizations, which have developed my leadership, and partnerships skills, simultaneously giving me the opportunity to meet so many similarly passionate peers.

 

When I'm not writing, you can find me practicing tennis, painting watercolors, taking part in youth climate actions, or spending time with friends.
